HYPERFIDO BIO TROUBLESHOOTING (WINDOWS)

NOTE: If you continue to experience issues after following the steps below, contact your system administrator or contact us for additional support.
Both PIN and fingerprint not working
Go to Manage my account, then click Sign-in options.
Under Ways to sign in, click Security key, then click Manage.
If the Set up button under Security Key Fingerprint is disabled and the button under Security Key PIN displays Add, then a fingerprint and PIN have not been added to this key.
You must add a PIN first to your security key before you can add a fingerprint.


Fingerprint not working
Go to Manage my account, then click Sign-in options.
Under Ways to sign in, click Security key, then click Manage.
If the Set up button under Security Key Fingerprint is active and the button under Security Key PIN displays Change, then a PIN has been added, but a fingerprint has not been added to this security key.
You must add a fingerprint to use the fingerprint feature with the security key.


PIN and fingerprint added, but key displays issues
Go to Manage my account, then click Sign-in options.
Under Ways to sign in, click Security key, then click Manage.
If the buttons under Security Key Fingerprint display Add another and Remove, then both a PIN and a fingerprint have been added.
From here, you can:

Add another fingerprint.

Click Remove to remove all registered fingerprints, then add your fingerprint again.
NOTE: The HyperFIDO Bio security key will function without a fingerprint registered. If no fingerprint is discovered, the key will default to verifying using the PIN.
