USING FIDO2 WITH MICROSOFT OUTLOOK
You can use our HyperFIDO Pro Security Key to sign in to a Microsoft 365 email account via Outlook. Once your key is registered, you'll also be able to sign in to your email account on iOS via NFC.
NOTE: You must register and add your HyperFIDO Pro Security Key to Microsoft Outlook through Windows first before using it on iOS. Make sure you're using the most updated version of Windows.
1. Sign in to Outlook
Sign in to your Microsoft Outlook email account and navigate to your account profile.
Click Update Info under Security info.

2. Add your security key
Click Add sign-in method and click Passkey, then click Next.
Disregard the suggested passkey option and click Change, then click Security key.
Insert your security key and follow the instructions on-screen to add your security key.
NOTE: If the Passkey option is unavailable, check with your system administrator.

Signing in through your browser
Once your security key is added, you can sign in through any browser that supports the FIDO2 protocol, including on mobile.
To use your security key when logging in, click Security key, then insert your key, enter your PIN, and touch the key.

Signing in through the Outlook app
IMPORTANT: To enable your security key on the Outlook app, you must first install and link Microsoft Authenticator to your Outlook account.
Once Microsoft Authenticator has been added to your Outlook account, the Outlook app will request your security key for authentication when adding the account to the Outlook application.
To sign in:
-
Enter the email of the account you want to add to the Outlook app.
-
When prompted, hold the key near your device's NFC antenna or insert the key into your device's USB-C port, then touch the security key to finish signing in.
NOTE: You may be prompted to enter your security key's PIN when signing in.
