USING HYPER FIDO WITH LOGIN.GOV
Login.gov is used to access and manage participating U.S. government programs, such as federal benefits, NEXUS card applications, and more. Hyper FIDO is a simple way to make sure your privacy is protected.
1. Add a security key
Go to Login.gov, then enter your email and password and click Sign in.
On the side menu under Two-factor authentication, click Add security key.
2. Name your security key
Enter a name for the security key you want to register, then click Continue.
3. Register your security key
Insert your security key into the USB port.
If prompted, enter the PIN for your security key and click OK.
When the light on your security key starts flashing, press the button on the key to finish registering your security key.
Signing in
To sign in with your security key, sign in to your account with your username and password if needed, then insert your security key.
If prompted, enter your security key's PIN and click OK.
When the light on your security key starts flashing, press the button on the key to finish signing in.
Choose whether you want to remember this device for next time, then click Continue.
